ZAH Marble is a stone yard, not a showroom that orders on your behalf. The stock stands on our own racks, which is why we can tell you the block a slab came from and how many pieces are left beside it.

What we hold

Rajasthani and Katni marble, granite from Kuppam and Andhra, engineered quartz for counters, and lapatra stone for outside — the natural stone bought by the block, so a floor can be matched years after the first order.

Why consecutive cuts matter

Slabs are numbered as they come off the gang saw. Number 01 mirrors 02 because they were touching a moment earlier. Number 09 shares the block but not the pattern — which is why we publish both numbers. This is true of marble and granite only. Quartz is pressed in batches, and matching within a batch is guaranteed rather than lucky.

The route a block takes

  1. 01

    Quarry

    Natural stone is bought by the block, not as loose slabs — from Rajasthan, Katni and the Andhra granite belt.

  2. 02

    Road

    Trucked down to Seethangoli. Engineered quartz arrives finished, by the batch, and goes straight to the rack.

  3. 03

    Gang saw

    Sawn to the ordered thickness. Slabs are numbered in cutting order as they come off the frame.

  4. 04

    Resin and polish

    Fissures filled, faces polished, honed, brushed or flamed to the specification.

  5. 05

    Rack

    Stood upright on the A-frame with the block number chalked on the edge. That is where you meet it.

Sawing to your layout, mitred edges, bullnose, drainer grooves and sink cut-outs.

Finishing

Polished, honed, leathered, brushed, flamed and sandblasted, in-house.

Sample boxes, slab reservations against a drawing, and quantity take-offs from your plan.

Bulk and repeat orders

Multi-unit projects supplied in scheduled batches from reserved blocks, so unit 42 matches unit 1.
